The narrow streets around here are where Split locals actually live and work, so you’ll find that authentic Croatian café culture just outside your door. Plus, if you need to catch a ferry to the islands or head to the airport, everything’s easily accessible without the hassle of dragging luggage through the most crowded tourist zones.

  Incredible place, we couldn’t believe the size of the apartment, how open and clean everything was – and all with the most gobsmacking view of the square, the bell tower and the other palace buildings right out the window!   The location was perfect! If you like looking down out of your window at a 3500 yr old granite sphinx in Peristyle (the central square of the palace that includes the main entrance to Diocletian's quarters), bustling with energy, music, and Roman costumed soldiers, then this is the place for you!

  – The location is superb. Right in the middle of diocletians palace which is the heart of split. There is plenty of hustle and bustle outside from early morning until around 11:30pm, this did not bother us in terms of noise, we slept very soundly for our 5 night stay. I booked the property for myself and my partner to stay for our 5 nights in split. We didn’t realise just how great the location would be – what a pleasant surprise.
  
  – the apartment itself is beautiful. Really clean particularly the bedroom bathroom and kitchen. The interior features some really beautiful stone and figures/beams on the ceiling. I especially loved the beautiful front facing window out from which we could view the change of the Roman guard! We felt really special staying here as from time to time people would look up at us viewing out the window 🙂
  
  – the hosts were really helpful and communicative. They helped us to organise a taxi collection from the airport. We were met and brought to our accommodation and helped with our bags. We arrived late around midnight and our host welcomed us without any issue despite it being so late.

  The location was perfect, host highly responsive and the 13th century apartment beautifully and tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. Lana who met us to check us in and check us out was extremely pleasant and answered all our questions. Considering we were right in the middle of the old town with many tourists, the apartment was quiet and we slept well. The air conditioning worked well and was a welcome reprieve from the extreme heat. We loved our stay. If we come to Split again, we will definitely stay here.
