The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel,” which honestly made me feel more like a local than a visitor.

Evenings are even better — you’re close enough to the waterfront that you can catch sunset at the Riva promenade, then duck back through the narrow streets for dinner. The whole area comes alive after dark, but in that authentic Mediterranean way where locals are out enjoying themselves, not just tourist spots staying open late.
