The air conditioning works properly (crucial in Split summers), and the Wi-Fi is fast enough that I could actually work from there when I needed to. The bathroom is modern with a proper shower, and there’s plenty of storage space, which you don’t always get in Croatian accommodations.

I can’t stress enough how much of a game-changer this is, especially if you’re planning day trips to places like Trogir or the islands. The staff actually speaks excellent English and responds quickly to messages, which made check-in smooth even though I arrived later than planned. They also provide local recommendations that go beyond the obvious tourist spots, and I ended up at this fantastic konoba they suggested that I never would have found otherwise.

  Beautiful apartment just 15 mins walk from Split old town. We had a great stay, really comfortable room with a nice kitchen area and large balcony. The area itself is lovely with a quiet beach just 5 min walk away and a few nice bars and restaurants. We visited the open air cinema which was also 5 min walk away, which I would highly recommend. The area is popular with locals so feels less touristy which is nice! Suzy was a brilliant host, very friendly, always on hand and went out of her way to help us when we ran into a spot of trouble with parking. Would definitely recommend if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the old town!
