Despite being so central, the street itself isn’t one of those crazy busy tourist thoroughfares where you can’t sleep.

The apartment feels more spacious than you’d expect for Split’s old town. The room layout actually makes sense — not like some places where they’ve just randomly divided up old buildings. There’s a proper kitchen setup that’s useful if you want to grab fresh ingredients from the Green Market (which is practically around the corner). The windows let in great natural light, and you can actually open them for fresh air without getting overwhelmed by street noise. What I really appreciated was how easy it made exploring Split feel. You can wander out for morning coffee at one of the local spots — there’s this great little place called Bokeria that locals love, just a few minutes away. The Riva waterfront is close enough for evening strolls, but you’re not dealing with the constant crowds that hit the main promenade areas. Parking can be tricky in this part of town (honestly, it’s tricky everywhere in Split’s center), but the staff actually knows the area well enough to give you real advice, not just generic directions.
