Perla Luxury Rooms
First Impressions
Walking up to Perla Luxury Rooms on Zadarska street, you immediately get that “this is going to be good” feeling. It’s one of those four-star places that doesn’t try too hard — just clean lines, modern touches, and honestly, the kind of entrance that makes you feel like you made the right choice. The building itself fits perfectly into Split‘s historic fabric, but there’s something unmistakably contemporary about how they’ve designed the space.
Location That Actually Matters
Here’s what I love about where this place sits — you’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Diocletian’s Palace, but you’re not dealing with the tourist chaos right outside your window. Zadarska is one of those streets locals actually use, which means you’ll find proper cafes and shops mixed in with the tourist spots. I mean, you can grab morning coffee at a place where Split residents actually go, then wander over to the palace when you’re ready. The couples who stay here seem to get it — there’s something romantic about having your own little corner of the city.
The Room Experience
The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d hope for from a place called “premium rooms” — spacious enough that you’re not bumping into each other, with those high ceilings that make everything feel more elegant. The design strikes this nice balance between modern comfort and Croatian character. You know what really impressed me? The attention to details like proper lighting and storage space — things that matter when you’re actually living in the space for a few days, not just taking Instagram photos.
What Sets It Apart
Recent guests keep mentioning the location, and after staying here, I totally understand why. It’s that sweet spot where you feel connected to the real Split but you’re still in the heart of everything worth seeing. The staff genuinely seems to know the neighborhood — not just the obvious tourist recommendations, but where to find good wine, which routes to take for evening walks, that sort of local knowledge that makes a difference. There’s also something to be said for how quiet it gets at night, despite being so central.
Why Guests Love It
The 8.4 rating makes perfect sense once you’ve spent time here. It’s not trying to be the flashiest place in Split, but it delivers on the things that actually matter — comfort, location, and that feeling that you’re staying somewhere special without the pretension. Couples especially seem drawn to the intimate scale and the way you can easily slip into the rhythm of the city. Whether you’re planning romantic dinners in Diocletian’s Palace or just want to explore Split like locals do, this place gives you the perfect home base.
Split hotels keep travelers close to Riva strolls, Marjan hikes, and ferry terminals to island adventures.

Guest Reviews
The owner was very nice and asked me if I needed anything multiple times during my stay.
There was a big bottle of water and apple juice ready as well which was nice as I therefore didn’t need to go to the supermarket on the day I arrived.
Just great!
