This four-star property sits right in the heart of the old town, and I mean literally — you’re steps away from Diocletian’s Palace without dealing with the tourist chaos that comes with staying directly inside the palace walls. The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, which honestly makes it feel more authentic than some of the flashier places around town.

Location & Neighborhood

Here’s what I love about this spot — you get the best of both worlds. You’re close enough to walk to the Riva waterfront in about three minutes, but tucked away on a quieter street where you can actually get some sleep. The couples who stay here absolutely get it (they rate the location 9.2, and I can see why). During the day, you can explore the ancient palace corridors, then retreat back to your peaceful base when the day-trippers head back to their cruise ships. There’s also parking available on-site, which is honestly a godsend if you’re driving — finding a spot in Split’s old town is usually a nightmare.
