The palace is maybe a three-minute walk, and you can easily stroll to the waterfront without breaking a sweat.   The property was very conveniently located just outside of the old town walls, but still feels like the old town. Parking and the old town walls are about a 5 minute walk, or less. The room was spacious with all amenities, and breakfast is complementary at the restaurant downstairs next door.

  Lovely location in old part of town but not too noisy. Host greeted us on arrival, spoke English, answered questions and left us to settle in. Above a very good bar/restaurant for immediate evening meal. Breakfast in building next door was superb – buffet with lots of options. v comfortable beds.

  Location was brilliant to Split Old Town and waterfront. A lady was waiting for us on arrival and the Restaurant below kindly looked after our bags after checking out. Good communication re picking up key. Accommodation was clean and authentic. Towels replaced daily. Bins emptied daily. complimentary sweets outside of property with an alcoholic beverage (not sure what it was though). The restaurant below the accommodation was very good too.

  Good location close to the city centre and the ports. Breakfast supplied by the restaurant below the premises, plenty on offer. Room on the small side but adequate for short stay.

  We had 2 rooms that were perfect for our overnight transit stay. Walking distance of town, beach, port and bus station. Air con was essential.
  One of our rooms was on the first floor and was perfect. The second room was on the first floor and was above a bar. The noise did affect our ability to sleep but once the bar closed it was peaceful.
  I struggled to work out how to make contact with the owner through booking.com but luckily there was a phone number on the door so we called when we arrived. It would have been a comfort to have made contact in advance but all turned out ok in the end.

  Beautiful old stone building and sympathetically restored. Lovely location and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful.
