I mean, you’re literally in the heart of Split, surrounded by the kind of authentic Croatian atmosphere that most tourists spend days trying to find.

The Perfect Split Location

Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re close enough to Diocletian’s Palace that you can walk there in minutes, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant tourist crowds outside your window. The street itself has this lovely residential feel, with local cafes and shops that actually cater to people who live here, not just visitors. Couples especially seem to get this location (they rate it 8.4, which honestly makes sense), probably because you can easily slip away for romantic evening walks without fighting through selfie-stick wielding crowds.

The Room Experience

The suites themselves are spacious — and I actually mean spacious, not hotel-brochure spacious. Each room feels more like a well-designed apartment than a typical hotel setup, with enough space to spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase. What really impressed me though was the bed situation — they weren’t kidding about the comfort factor. You know how hotel beds can be hit or miss? Well, these are definitely in the “hit” category, the kind where you actually sleep better than you do at home.

Breakfast Worth Waking Up For

The breakfast spread here is honestly impressive — they’ve got everything from continental basics to full English options, plus they actually do proper vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free choices that don’t feel like afterthoughts. The Italian options are particularly good (makes sense, given how close you are to Italy), and the American breakfast items are there if you’re craving something familiar. It’s served in a bright, airy space that makes morning feel less like a chore and more like the start of a good day exploring Split.

Free parking right on site — which, if you’ve ever tried to park in Split’s old town, you’ll know is basically gold. • Splendid place – Hélène from France (9/10)

  We got to the hotel by bus and it took us approximately 1 hour.
  The room was pretty big, there was a really big bed, a fridge, a balcony with a view at the sea.
  All the hotel and the pool were really clean.
  The neighborhood is pretty calm day and night and there's less tourists.
  
  You can get to the beach, really good restaurants, a super market and an ATM within 5min by walking from the hotel.
  We walked 25/30min to go the the old towns.
  
  We had an early flight so we asked the person at the front desk the day before to book a taxi for us. The person was glad to help us and we even got a free lunch bag the day we left. This gesture was really appreciate!
  
  All of this made the experience in Split full of wonderful memories for us 😁
  
  We're going to book to this hotel again if we ever go back to Split! Thank you again to all the people working there.

  Nice room with plenty of space. Staff were fantastic. Great having the option to book trips at the venue that pick up from the venue. Our train was very delayed getting in but the staff reassured us they would be there to check us in, even after midnight!
