Cora Hotel
First Impressions
Walking up to Cora Hotel on Put Supavla, you immediately get the sense that someone really thought about every detail here. This four-star property sits in what locals will tell you is genuinely the best part of Split — and honestly, after spending time in the area, I can see why couples rate the location so highly. The building itself has this clean, modern feel that doesn’t try too hard to be flashy, which I actually appreciated after seeing some of the more over-the-top places around town. The attention to detail extends from the lobby through every corner of the property.
Location & Getting Around
You know what’s great about this spot? You’re close enough to Diocletian’s Palace that you can easily walk there, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant tourist crowds right outside your window. The parking situation is something I have to mention — having private parking at the hotel is honestly a game-changer in Split, where finding a spot can be a real headache. Most places either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for it somewhere blocks away.
The Room Experience
My room was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run four-star place — clean lines, comfortable bed, and everything actually worked. The design feels contemporary without being cold, and there’s enough space to spread out your stuff without feeling cramped. What I noticed is that they’ve clearly invested in good soundproofing, because even though you’re in the city, it stays pretty quiet at night. The attention to comfort and functionality is evident throughout.
Breakfast & Dining
The breakfast setup here is actually impressive — they’ve got this whole range of options that goes way beyond the typical continental spread. I’m talking Italian selections, vegetarian and vegan choices, gluten-free options, even American-style items if that’s what you’re craving. The buffet format works well, but they also do breakfast to go if you’re planning an early day trip to the islands or something. It’s the kind of variety that means everyone in your group will find something they actually want to eat.
Why Guests Love It
Look, there’s a reason this place has such high ratings — it’s that sweet spot where everything just works without any drama. The staff seems to know what they’re doing, the location puts you right where you want to be in Split, and you’re not paying five-star prices for what you get. Couples especially seem to love it here, probably because you can walk to dinner, explore the old town, and still come back to a peaceful, well-appointed space. It’s one of those places where you spend your time enjoying Split instead of dealing with hotel issues.
Split’s hotels wrap guests in limestone walls, lavender scents, and concierge-led yacht charters.
